The treatment of the texture, unrefined and abstract, surpasses the truly figurative aspect, trying to evoke rather than tell, mapping out a broad formal arch through the gradual metamorphosis of the opening musical ideas. Shreds and tatters delineate a wounded landscape, metaphor for a fragmented reality, destined to crumble. A faint memory moves through the tangle to capture the intimate relation between all the parts, like a horizon of fixity that emerges from an inner space.
